Missions Ministry

CBC's mission strategy is simple---Pray, Give, Go! That's because it's something everyone can do. From the youngest to the oldest, we can pray for our mission partners here and around the world. Everyone can also give. Whether it's time, talents, or treasures, there are ways children, youth, and adults can give, whether it's money, packing shoeboxes, or helping saw, hammer, etc. And lastly, almost everyone can go, whether it's down the street to volunteer at Choices Pregnancy Center or going on a mission trip to assist one of our mission partners.

PRAY

Our three-fold missions' strategy begins with prayer. It is foundational. In the past, we have prayed for all 205 countries on our planet. Classes/groups adopt missionaries or one of our missions' partners to lift up in prayer. Each week in worship we highlight our local and global partners and their specific needs and pray for them. Anyone/everyone can pray. We are called to pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

GIVE

We give of our time, talents, and treasures to Kingdom work. This can be money given to one of our offerings like the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. It can be filling a Choices Pregnancy Baby Bottle with change. It can be lending a hand with our HIM team building a ramp or the Sweet Sleep Ministry sewing pillowcases. It can be counseling a client to faith in Christ at a Hope for the Hungry food giveaway

(1 Peter 4:10).

GO

When we are asked, needed, or wanted to help our partners complete their ministry, we will go locally, nationally and globally. This could be volunteering at Place of Hope right next door. It could be going to Alaska in the dead of winter to help GraceWorks with the Iditarod or in the summer for park ministry. It could be a medical/construction trip to Haiti. The link for our current trips is found below. (Matthew 28:19-20)
