Teaching English as a Ministry

If you sense the Lord is calling you to reach out in the name of Jesus Christ to the increasing numbers of internationals the Lord is bringing to our area, this workshop is for you. During the 14 1/2 hours of North American Mission Board training, you will learn how to effectively teach and support a conversational English ministry in your church or association without having to be an English major or know a foreign lanquage.

According to www.peoplegroups.info, a website compiled by the IMB, NAMB and Ethnic America, about 358 people in Clayton likely need help with their conversational English. They are from China, Colombia, Egupt, France, Germany, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico and Vietnam.

ESL Teacher Workshops will be held at CBC on Sept 11 and Sept 18 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Completing both days (14.5 hrs) will qualify for North American Mission Board Certification.
